About the role:

We are growing our team in Canada, and adding a strong sales leader to manage a team of experienced sellers while growing a strategic book of business. This person will work closely with the MD, Canada and other sales leaders to grow the market.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the day to day work of a team of AE’s, providing sales strategies and targets to achieve further success in market while remaining objective

  • Provide Sales/Deal coaching around difficult or opportunistic accounts, and closing strategic opportunities.

  • Own a strategic book of business, with responsibility for both individual and direct report revenue attainment.

  • Navigate highly complex and

  • Be an expert in Vistar’s capabilities and differentiators to help the team identify opportunities to leverage them to drive revenue growth and solve business needs.

  • Develop trusting and productive relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

  • Join in on and add value during strategic client meetings alongside direct reports

  • Cultivate and leverage existing strong key agency and client direct relationships to drive revenue.

  • Keep informed of client, market, and competitor changes, providing relevant feedback to the leadership team and other internal groups.

  • Lead by example, and be a positive addition to our culture.

What experience we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10+ years of experience in Ad-tech sales, with at least 5 years of experience leading a team

  • Proven sales, leadership, communication, and business management skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively provide and receive feedback, especially in regards to difficult or sensitive items

  • Strong communication skills; excellent presenter, with innate ability to hold the attention of a room

  • Ability to handle highly complex, strategic client issues, requiring conceptual thinking and expert problem-solving techniques.

  • Deep understanding of the inner workings of an agency, with established relationships at the leadership and executive level

  • Big picture thinking, with a positive attitude and a can-do approach

  • Willing to take a hands-on approach to drive revenue, both directly and indirectly

  • Possess comprehensive market and company knowledge, staying informed and educated on the industry and market
