Job description

Know-How Systems is looking for a Director of Canadian Operations to oversee catastrophe hail, including estimating and repairs, as well as claims management. The role also includes oversight of our full-time repair operations across Canada, such as paint and body shop operations, PDR, wheel repairs, and key replacement. The candidate must provide outstanding customer service and client relationship management. Extensive management experience in handling HR, payroll, process management, and expense management is required. Automotive repair background utilizing crash-estimating systems is essential; experience estimating PDR is a plus. This position requires 50-75% travel. Training on KhS processes and job duties will be provided.

Responsibilities

As a Director, you will:

1. Interact with customers daily
2. Manage resources to maximize profitability
3. Manage P&L to drive sales
4. Hold employees accountable for results
5. Oversee work quality and interact with employees
6. Provide the highest level of customer service
7. Assist operations at storm sites and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work catastrophes for extended periods
• Ability to travel within 24 hours
• Great attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Handle multiple tasks in stressful situations

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Prior operational auto body management experience
• Experience with crash estimating systems – Mitchell and Audatex
• Proven customer satisfaction and retention
