OpenText Developer and Support Analyst
The OpenText Developer and Support Analyst is responsible for providing break/fix support, system administration, development/enhancement, upgrades, patching, quality assurance, and technical documentation across the OpenText Content Management/Content Server, Extended ECM, and Process Automation/AppWorks platforms.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support OpenText applications
- Perform application upgrades, patching, and migrations for OpenText environments.
- Conduct day‑to‑day application administration.
- Design, develop and maintain new applications, reports, templates, and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, system failures, or technical errors. Identify root causes, work with vendors as needed, and implement quality solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and participate in solution design.
- Modify, enhance, and create configurations or applications that meet business requirements while following design specifications, development standards, documentation practices, and quality guidelines.
Mandatory Education
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mandatory Experience
- Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience:
- In a system administration IT role
- Developing the OpenText Content Management/Content Server platform, including use of Content Server Web Services, REST APIs, and experience with workspaces, WebReports, and templates.
- Designing low‑code solutions on the OpenText Process Automation/AppWorks Platform, including working with entities, business process models, and creating/editing artifacts such as lifecycles, connectors, and workflows.
- Experience in all phases of System Development Lifecycle
- Java or .NET development experience with good knowledge of Object‑oriented programming concepts
- Experience creating and maintaining Windows/Azure PowerShell (Azure CLI, Bash) scripts
- Developing with HTML, CSS, JavaScript(jQuery), and SQL
- Configuring and managing web/application servers
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of software development standards and best practice approaches
- Exposure to Agile development methodology
- Experience writing technical documentation.
- Ability to perform multiple duties concurrently with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to prioritize and manage work.
- Ability to proactively monitor and communicate for timely escalation of issues.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

- Containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Developing modern full‑stack applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails.
