Save-On-Foods in Lethbridge, AB seeks a Department Manager for Grocery to lead a fast-paced team focused on customer-first service and operational excellence.

You will coach staff, drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure health, safety, and merchandising standards while achieving KPI targets in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail experience preferred
• Leadership experience is an asset
• Food Safe Certification is required or preferred
• Post-secondary business education is an asset

Responsibilities

• Lead the department and coach team members to deliver Always Customer First service
• Ensure operational excellence in customer experience, health and safety, food safety, and merchandising
• Analyze KPIs and financial reports to identify performance improvements and growth opportunities
• Lead inventory counts, period ends, and address issues in the department
• Train, evaluate, and recognize staff; manage scheduling and HR-related tasks
