City Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry invites a friendly Dental Receptionist to join our Edmonton-area team. This full-time role operates across Spruce Grove and Edmonton locations, with a 3–4 day split in Spruce Grove and the rest in Edmonton.

We seek a patient-focused, organized professional who communicates clearly, handles insurance details, and supports a welcoming environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Computer skills; experience with dental software preferred.
• Experience in a dental clinic is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work with children of all ages.
• Willingness to travel between Edmonton-area clinics.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and parents, creating a warm, professional first impression.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently.
• Answer and direct incoming calls.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area.
• Handle insurance administration, including direct billing.
• Collect payments and balance daily.
• Additional duties may be assigned as required.

About this Role

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our progressive, state-of-the-art practice. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity at our Edmonton Area locations. This position will work 3-4 days in Spruce Grove with the rest at one of our Edmonton locations.

We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented professional who brings a caring and compassionate approach to patient care. The successful candidate will excel at building meaningful connections with patients, parents, and team members alike. Responsibilities & Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Welcome and greet patients and parents/guardians upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional first impression
• Schedule and book patient appointments, managing the schedule efficiently
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Manage insurance administration, including direct billing and liaising with insurance companies
• Collect payments and close a balanced day
• Additional duties may be assigned as required

Skills & Experience

We are looking for a professional who demonstrates the following clinical and interpersonal skills:

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Computer proficient; able to learn new software quickly. Ortho2Edge and Curve Hero are used at our clinic
• Experience in a dental clinic is an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with children of all ages
• Available to work during applicable business hours
• Willing to travel between different clinic locations across Edmonton
