Westmount Dental Centre in Edmonton is seeking a dental administrator to greet patients, manage the schedule, and maintain patient records. The role focuses on optimizing daily appointments, recalls, and patient communications to ensure a smooth front-desk operation.
You will use dental software, handle calls and inquiries, and support referral processing. A minimum of 1 year of dental administration experience is required, and familiarity with dental software is a plus.

Rotational weeks. Monday shifts can be 7am-3pm, 1pm-9pm, or 11am-7pm and change every 6 weeks.
Week one: Tuesday to Friday 7am-2pm.
Week two: 2pm-9pm Tuesday to Friday, Saturday 9am-4pm.
There is a $6.00 premium for evening and weekend shifts

Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them
Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps
Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database
Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations
Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts
Minimum 1 year of dental administration experience
Clinical background and experience with dental software programs considered an asset
