Job summary

Dentalhouse – Victoria Dental Arts in Belleville, Ontario is seeking a Dental Assistant for a replacement role. Prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists, and manage patient care with attention to infection control and chart updates.

Ideal candidates will be registered or certified as a Dental Assistant with the provincial body and have prior dental assisting experience. On-site position with a focus on patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8.00am - 5.00pm

Friday: 8.00am - 4.00pm

No evenings or weekends.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$25-$27/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
