Ainslie Street Dental in Cambridge, Canada is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists with chairside care, X‑rays, and infection control. The role emphasizes patient comfort, teamwork, and professional development.

You must be registered/certified and prior dental assisting experience is preferred; the clinic offers RRSP matching, comprehensive benefits, CE opportunities, gym discounts, and an Employee Assistance Program to support staff growth.

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred

Responsabilidades

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $20-$33/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

About You:
