Job summary

Dentalhouse – Victoria Dental Arts in Belleville, Ontario is seeking a registered Dental Assistant to support the dental team with room preparation, instrument handling, and patient comfort. You will assist dentists and hygienists, take X-rays, perform sterilization, update charts, and help with scheduling while upholding IPAC standards and privacy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8.00am - 5.00pm

Friday: 8.00am - 4.00pm

No evenings or weekends.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$25-$27/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
