Job summary

West End Dental in Ontario is seeking a Dental Assistant to prepare rooms, assist clinicians, and manage X-rays with a strong emphasis on infection control and patient care.

You must be registered or certified as a Dental Assistant in your province; NDAEB is preferred, and prior dental assisting experience is valued. The team offers a comprehensive rewards package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• NDAEB is preferred.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule:

Monday: 10:00 AM- 7:00 PM

Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$25-$30/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
