Overview

Our client, a friendly neighbourhood dental office, seeks a Level I or II Dental Assistant/Receptionist who can be trained. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated to patient care.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced Level I or II Dental Assistant
• Preferred someone that can help out at Front Desk and that has experience with Abeldent

LOCATION

• Danforth/Pape area (free parking)

HOURS

• Mon to Thurs 9-5

COMPENSATION

• $25-30 per hour depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW

• Assisting dentist during dental procedures, restorations etc in a General practice
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up trays
• Preparing dental materials and cements
• Pouring and trimming cast models
• Digital x-rays
• Providing patients with post operative instructions
• Mainly assistanting but helping at the front desk with booking appointments, dealing with insurance companies, recall etc using Abeldent software as needed
• Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
