Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver in Saskatoon, SK. You will deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and ensure top-notch customer service from the store to the door. This role supports the online shopping team and must maintain safety and vehicle upkeep while meeting daily delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from SK.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Work with online shopping team and customer service center to resolve service recovery situations (returns, refunds, etc.).
• Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and follow all road rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean, roadworthy condition and perform other duties as assigned.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from SK.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
