Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Lethbridge, AB is seeking a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from store to customers' doors with a focus on excellent customer service.

You will operate a company van, maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, and work with the online shopping team to ensure smooth deliveries and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with GPS applications and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a van while providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Collaborate with the online shopping team and customer service to resolve returns/refund issues.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and adhere to traffic laws.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in Lethbridge, AB.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.

• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.

• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.

• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.

• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.

• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from AB.

• A clean driver’s abstract.

• Experience in a customer service-related role.

• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and night.

• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
