Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Vancouver, BC is hiring a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from the store to customers' doors. You will operate a fully equipped van, provide friendly, customer-first service, and coordinate with the online shopping team to resolve issues.

The role requires a valid BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, Serving It Right, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• BC Class 5 license required or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform deliveries in all weather.

Responsibilities

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in West Vancouver, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from BC.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both days and evenings.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
