Job summary

Pattison Food Group is seeking a Delivery Driver for Save-On-Foods in Victoria, BC. You will deliver groceries in a company van and ensure exceptional customer service from store to door.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the online shopping team, handling service recoveries, and maintaining vehicle standards. The role requires a valid BC Class 5 license, clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide customer-first service.

• Maintain operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely and follow traffic rules.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Victoria Save-On-Foods locations in Victoria, BC.

Responsibilities

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
