Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Vancouver, BC is hiring a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from store to door with a focus on customer-first service. You’ll work with the online shopping team and service center to resolve returns and refunds while upholding safety standards and vehicle upkeep.

The role requires a valid BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and Serving It Right or willingness to obtain, plus comfort with GPS on mobile devices and weather-ready availability day and night.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license.
• Clean driving record / abstract required.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in all weather.
• Comfort with mobile devices and GPS apps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a van while delivering customer-first service.
• Work with online shopping and customer service to resolve issues.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Grandview Save-On-Foods location in Vancouver, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from BC.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and night.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
