Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Victoria, BC is hiring a Delivery Driver to join our growing online shopping fulfillment team. You will deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service from store to door.

You will work with the online shopping team and customer service to resolve returns and refunds, meet safety and vehicle maintenance standards, and maintain a positive, can-do attitude while delivering in all weather.

Qualifications

• Valid, full BC Class 5 driver's license.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve returns/refunds.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and follow road rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Victoria Save-On-Foods locations in Victoria, BC.

Responsibilities

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from BC.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
