Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver in Kamloops, BC. You will deliver groceries in a company van and provide exceptional customer-first service, coordinating with the online shopping team to resolve issues and protect customer satisfaction.

You will operate the delivery vehicle safely, maintain its condition, and complete duties as assigned. The role emphasizes reliability, physical fitness, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Must hold a valid BC Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient with GPS and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service for returns/refunds issues.
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely following road rules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in Kamloops, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
