Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Langley, BC is hiring a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from our store to customers’ doors with a strong emphasis on customer-first service.

We supply the company vehicle and cover gas, insurance, and maintenance. You will work with the online shopping team to resolve issues, maintain safety standards, and ensure timely deliveries in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license.
• Clean driving abstract.
• Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with exceptional customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve recovery situations (returns, refunds, etc).
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely according to road rules.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and roadworthy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in Langley, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
