COGIR Real Estate's Sonata retirement residence in Châteauguay is seeking two heavy housekeeping attendants to join our maintenance team. This permanent part-time night-shift role offers 16 hours per week, with duties including cleaning entryways, common areas, floors, lobby, and related upkeep.

The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, punctual, reliable, and committed to hygiene standards. We provide uniform, sick days, floating days off, vacation, and access to social club

Qualifications

• High school diploma (SSD) required.
• Professional training in general building maintenance is an asset.
• Good organizational and physical abilities are expected.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the premises.
• Clean entryways and common areas.
• Sweep and clean floors of corridors, common areas and workstations.
• Organise or perform related maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Wash windows in common areas.
• Take out the trash.
• Maintenance and cleaning of the lobby and corridors.
• Keep the work environment clean.
• Cleaning and performing maintenance duties.
• Cleaning and performing floor maintenance duties in the common areas.
• All other related tasks.

Purpose of the position

• Maintain and clean the premises
• Clean entryways and common areas
• Sweep and clean the floors of the corridors, common areas and workstations of the building
• Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
• Wash windows in common areas
• Taking out the trash
• Maintenance and cleaning of the lobby and corridors
• Keep the work environment clean
• Cleaning and performing maintenance duties
• Cleaning and performing floor maintenance duties in the common areas
• All other related tasks
