Job summary

Cogir Immobilier is seeking a Resident Care Attendant for Manoir Royal St-Eustache in a permanent part-time role. Evening and night shifts with every other weekend. You will help residents with daily care, administer medications, and monitor health while maintaining respect and dignity.

You will join a supportive team at a private seniors residence, with opportunities to contribute to individualized care plans and collaborate with care staff. Salary is discussed.

Qualifications

• PDSB training is required or preferred.
• CPR/AED training certificates must be up to date.
• Law 90 training is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to private seniors' home standards and policies.
• Administer medications safely following ethical codes.
• Respond to call bells and assist residents as needed.
• Assist residents in getting around and on their action plans.
• Provide health and hygienic care preserving dignity.
• Proactively support residents and monitor changes.
• Report health changes to the on-call nurse and respond to emergencies.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Manoir Royal St-Eustache, a welcoming private seniors' residence, is seeking a Resident Care Attendant for a part-time position.Permanent part-time position, evening and night shifts, one weekend out of two.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
• Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
• Answering call bells
• Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
• In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
• Proactively assist and support the residents
• Respond to all emergency situations
• While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• PDSB training
• Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
• Law 90 training
