Walmart Canada in Cowansville, QC is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to deliver friendly customer service while maintaining and stocking the Deli and Bakery areas. You will assist with orders, food prep, and display of merchandise according to safety standards.

The role requires at least 16 years old and offers an hourly wage starting at 19.05 CAD. Training is provided, and the job emphasizes quality, temperature control, and proper labeling across the department.

Responsabilidades

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls
• Follows proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
