Walmart Canada in Bathurst, NB is hiring a Deli Bakery Associate to deliver friendly customer service while maintaining the Bakery and Deli area.

You will zone shelves, rotate stock, check expiration dates, and ensure items are signed and priced. You will assist with hot food orders, rotisserie chicken, and bakery production following thawing and baking guidelines. This role emphasizes food safety and clean presentation. Minimum age 16+; wage starts at 16.35 CAD per hour.

Responsabilidades

• Zones the department to organize product shelves and ensure correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
