Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. is seeking a Service Technician (Diesel Engine) to support fleet maintenance and repairs at our Alberta locations.

The role involves engine diagnostics, service inspections, and completing repair orders while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The ideal candidate holds a Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification, Cummins certification, and at least 5 years in the truck/transport sector with a willingness to participate in dealer training

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• Cummins engine certification and experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to diesel engines following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Technician (Diesel Engine) is responsible for supporting our customers with their fleet engine maintenance and repairs including the following:

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
