Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. seeks a skilled Service Technician to join our Alberta/BC dealership network. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs following safety standards, documenting findings and completed work.

You will mentor apprentices and collaborate with the team to ensure reliable, safe trucks for our customers. We offer extensive dealer training, tooling, and growth opportunities across our network.

Qualifications

• Red Seal or Journeyman in heavy-duty/truck and transport required.
• Experience with Cummins engines and diagnostics preferred.
• Willingness to engage in extensive dealer training at our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders and prepare for each service job.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs per safety standards.
• Restore vehicles and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Document findings and completed work; communicate issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders and support transitions to next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices with guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Promote safe work environment and maintain tools/equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• A CVI License is an asset
• A proven industry background with Cummins experience and training.
• Experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
• A desire to challenge yourself, and a willingness to embrace the extensive dealer training opportunities we provide through our dedicated training facility located at our Red Deer location.
