Job summary

Bosh Truck Group Inc. in Didsbury, AB is seeking a Service Technician to work on-site at a customer's facility, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to keep vehicles in top condition.

The ideal candidate holds a Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck & Transport Journeyman certification, a CVI license, and has Cummins engine experience, with PACCAR diagnostics as a plus. Expect strong teamwork and dealer training opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck & Transport Journeyman qualification is required.
• A commercial vehicle inspection license is required.
• Experience with Cummins engines and diagnostics is preferred.
• Experience with PACCAR/Cummins engine diagnostics is recommended.
• 5 years’ experience in the truck and transport industry.
• Willingness to participate in dealer training at Red Deer facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing orders and gathering tools and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and keep area organized.
• Document findings and communicate additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders and support transitions to next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices and share skills.
• Promote a safe work environment and maintain tools/equipment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to work as an embedded dedicated technician in a customers facility in the Didsbury, Alberta. The preferred candidate will be self motivated and able to deliver exceptional customer service

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• A commercial vehicle inspection license is required
• A proven industry background with Cummins experience and training.
• Experience with PACCAR and/or Cummins engine diagnostics.
• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
