Responsibilities

• Prepare service jobs by reviewing repair orders and gathering necessary tools.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Restore vehicles to working condition and maintain cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
• A CVI License.
• Experience with Cummins engine diagnostics is an asset.
• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
