Job summary

Sensity invites applications for an Intervenor in London, ON. The role supports communication and daily living for individuals with dual sensory impairment to promote independence.

Full-time, 36–40 hrs/week with days, afternoons, evenings, overnights and weekends on a rotating schedule. Highlights include a competitive wage starting at $24.31/hour, weekend premium, paid sick days, and tuition reimbursement up to 50% for approved classes after one year of service.

Qualifications

• Completion of a college diploma in Intervenor for Deafblind Persons or related field.
• Experience with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviours.
• ASL or SEE communication.
• Valid Class G driver’s license with reliable vehicle and ability to obtain 2M liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in home and community environments.
• Use communication techniques to relay information.
• Help individuals participate in daily living activities including personal care.
• Assist with goals, program development, and documentation.
