Job summary

Sensity is hiring a Casual Intervenor to support people who are deafblind in London, ON. The role focuses on aiding communication and everyday tasks to promote independent living, with opportunities to participate in community programs and workshops.

The position offers casual/pick-up shifts (minimum 20 hours per month) with a wage starting at 24.31 CAD per hour. Training is provided, and employment includes eligibility for class reimbursements after one year of service.

Qualifications

• ASL or Signed Exact English communication.
• Experience with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviours.
• Valid G-class driver's licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living and communication for deafblind individuals.
• Assist with personal care, transfers, and daily tasks as needed.
• Assist in home and community activities to promote independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Contribute to program development and client goals.
