Job summary

Sensity Deafblind and Sensory Support Network of Canada is seeking an Intervenor in Brighton, ON to support individuals living with dual sensory impairment, helping them participate in daily activities and live independently.

The position offers part-time shifts (20–24 hours per week) across days, evenings, overnights and weekends, with a starting wage of $24.31/hour. Benefits include a health spending account, paid sick days and RRSP matching, plus opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• College diploma/certificate in Intervenor for Deafblind Persons.
• Experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities.
• ASL or SEE communication proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support communication and daily living to promote independence.
• Use communication techniques to relay information.
• Assist with personal care, meals, housekeeping, and mobility as needed.
• Develop and support individual goals and program development.
• Ensure documentation and records are complete.
