Qualifications
Completion of a college diploma or certificate in the Intervenor for Deafblind Persons program or a related field.
Experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviours.
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities
Support communication and daily living for individuals with dual sensory impairment.
Use communication techniques to relay information.
Provide personal care as required.
Skills
Communication in American Sign Language (ASL) or Signed Exact English (SEE)
Supporting persons with developmental disabilities
