Job summary

Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. in Vaughan, Ontario, is hiring a Baker Mixer for the Day-Time Shift (7AM - 3PM).

You will mix raw materials to create finished products following batch recipes, operate equipment per specifications, and uphold Food Safety, GMPs and health and safety standards. The role requires 1-3 years of manufacturing experience (food manufacturing is a plus) and at least a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches.
• Stages and prepares ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for production according to batch sheets and formulas.
• Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment including cleaning and inspection.
• Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety.
• Regularly monitor that the product confirms to quality and safety specifications.
• Strictly follows recipes to make product batches and feed production lines.
• Accurately enters mix records onto computer in a timely manner.
• Participate in changeovers and clean-up or sanitation of equipment.
