Job summary

Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator to ensure automated production runs safely and efficiently. You will monitor equipment with gauges, perform adjustments, and lead the line to produce high-quality baked goods.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of machine operator experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to read and write in English. Competitive benefits and a stable night schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and works well with others and independently.
• Responsible and result oriented.
• Strong sense of tight timelines.
• 1 year Machine Operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to read and write in English and fill out relevant work documents.
• Strong skills to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety, Safe Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices are followed.
• Follow all safety guidelines required by the machine’s manufacturer.
• Perform maintenance checks to keep the machine in good working order.
• Respond to defects or issues with the machine and notify the supervisor and maintenance of repairs.
• Load film or other packaging materials onto the machine and ensure match with product.
• Perform changeovers to accommodate different packaging materials or products.
