Job summary

Pengcorp Ltd. is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team. The role focuses on documenting business requirements, supporting solution design, and ensuring timely delivery of quality software for our core applications developed at Pengcorp C.A.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, participate in SDLC, and help translate needs into functional specifications. Strong communication, data analysis with Excel and PowerBI, and a proactive problem-solving mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• College or University degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field.
• CCBA/CBAP certification is an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proficiency with Atlassian and Microsoft products.
• Strong SDLC knowledge, preferably in an Agile or Iterative environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to engage various stakeholder groups.
• Exceptional written communication and documentation skills with the ability to produce clear and concise business and process requirements and functional specifications.
• Experience in developing and executing test cases.
• Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
• Proficient in data analysis with strong capabilities in Excel and PowerBI.
• Knowledge and experience in the Oil and Gas industry is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Participate in solution design and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Support the development team in delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Produce clear and concise business and process requirements and functional specifications.
• Develop and execute test cases to validate business requirements and ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve defects.
• Participate in the QA process to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Ensure adherence to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), preferably in an Agile or Iterative environment.
• Conduct data analysis and provide insights using Excel and PowerBI.
