Job summary

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a dynamic Senior Business Analyst to independently identify and document business requirements, model workflows, and help implement and test solutions. This role bridges stakeholders and delivery teams to translate needs into functional outcomes that enable business transformation.

The successful candidate will craft requirements, lead workshops, and collaborate with IT, Operations, and PMO while upholding OPG's values and code of conduct.

Qualifications

• Four-year university degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience performing business analysis in complex environments.
• Experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Ability to analyze, redesign, and optimize business processes to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyze requirements; document user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain business process maps and workflow models (BPMN, UML).
• Lead workshops and interviews to validate requirements and achieve stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, PMO and business teams to monitor solution performance and risks.
