Job summary

CRH is seeking a highly analytical Business Applications & Data Analyst to design, automate, and optimize business processes using Microsoft Power Platform and SQL. You will develop reports, dashboards, and data models, collaborating with stakeholders to drive data-driven improvements.

The role focuses on building scalable solutions, integrating Power Platform with SQL Server, SharePoint, and APIs, while ensuring security and governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years developing business solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
• Strong experience with Power Automate cloud flows.
• Advanced SQL knowledge: joins, subqueries, CTEs, stored procedures, performance optimization.
• Experience writing advanced DAX measures in Power BI.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience connecting Power Platform to SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, and REST APIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using advanced DAX calculations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Integrate Power Platform with SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, APIs, and other systems.
• Design data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Monitor application performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely user support.
• Document technical solutions, processes, and user guides.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure solutions follow security, governance, and best practices.
