Data Administrator, Human Resources Support

Location:

Calgary, AB, CA, T2J 7E8; Loveland, CO, US, 80538; Saskatoon, SK, CA, S7K 5R6

This position is required to be on-site in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, or Loveland, Colorado, United States.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Human Resources Solution Center (HRSC) in Loveland, CO, the Data Administrator of the HRSC handles a significant volume of data transactions for both North America and Canada. This role involves offering assistance to employees and HR team members through phone, ServiceNow cases, or email, addressing inquiries regarding policies and procedures, and helping to resolve or escalate complex issues.

What you will do:

  • Build strong relationships with all HR representatives, leaders, colleagues, and employees.
  • Process high volumes of data transactions to support a variety of stakeholders.
  • Enter information from various sources into databases or software systems.
  • Respond to inquiries from employees, supervisors, and HR colleagues regarding HR or Payroll policies and processes.
  • Perform all job-event HR transactional and data changes ensuring accuracy by cross-checking against all resource documents.
  • Organize and categorize data for easy retrieval and analysis.
  • Perform regular audits and checks on the data to ensure its integrity and reliability.
  • Work with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and other departments to resolve questions and process issues.
  • Adhere to established protocols and effectively utilize the case management system (ServiceNow).
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to employees seeking additional information related to HR services.
  • Investigate and identify solutions for any data issues leading to payroll errors.
  • Achieve mastery of HRSC knowledge by engaging in cross-training activities.
  • Understand HR policies and procedures to make administrative recommendations.
  • Contribute to ongoing development and continuous improvement initiatives within the HRSC.
  • Ensure effective management of work through company systems.
  • Safeguard employee privacy and protect sensitive information.
  • Participate in HRSC projects or support other HR colleagues as required.

What you will bring:

  • 1 year HR Support Services-Administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with Canadian and/or US HR data and good understanding of State/Province pay regulations.
  • Comfortable working in a multi-tasking, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Customer-centric orientation and ability to troubleshoot employee transactions.
  • Adaptability and patience with change and ambiguity.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, SAP, SuccessFactors, Workforce, EZL, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
  • Self-motivated with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously.
  • Willingness to continuously improve performance through learning.
  • Flexibility in terms of working schedule, including potential overtime.
  • Ability to work in an open plan corporate office environment.
