Job summary

FedEx Logistics is hiring for a part-time Dangerous Goods Agent in Ontario, London. You will ensure proper acceptance, storage, handling and loading of dangerous goods, and maintain required documentation in line with FedEx policy and legislation.

You will respond to spills, answer staff and customer questions on DG handling, and provide awareness training to colleagues. A valid G license, ability to lift 70 lbs, and DG certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months FedEx experience preferred.
• Type at least 25 wpm.
• Maintain dangerous goods certifications.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods handling, labeling, and documentation.
• Able to complete all basic and recurrency training.
• Good human relations and communications skills.
• Lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Must have a valid G license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Accept, store, handle and load dangerous goods following policy and legislation.
• Maintain accuracy of related documentation for compliance.
• Respond to spills and answer staff/customer questions on DG handling.
• Provide awareness training to other staff as needed.
