Desjardins Insurance is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the Agent Team. The role focuses on value-based conversations and delivering a remarkable customer experience, with potential growth and strong income.

The candidate will develop leads, respond to inquiries about coverage and billing, and support marketing efforts alongside the agent. A license in Property & Casualty and LLQP are preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Sales experience and track record of meeting goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
• Proactive problem solving and strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to multi-task and present to potential customers.
• Property & Casualty license (General Level 1) and LLQP preferred or obtainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Proactive in problem-solving
• Dedicated to customer service
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to make presentations to potential customers
• Property & Casualty license (General Level 1 preferred/must be able to obtain)
