We're looking for an onsite Customer Service Representative in the manufacturingindustry. The Customer Service Representative in Calgary, AB will be responsiblefor managing customer relationships, processing orders, coordinatingcommunications, and ensuring customers always receive exceptional service.
Customer Service Representative responsibilities:
- Respond to and triage incoming customer inquiries via phone and email
- Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B customers, retailers,dealers, and distribution centres
- Provide customers with timely order updates, shipment information, anddelivery status updates
- Process customer orders accurately within the company's ERP system
- Prepare production paperwork, labels, work instructions, and supportingdocumentation
- Coordinate with manufacturing, production, shipping, and internal departmentsto ensure customer needs are met
- Investigate and resolve customer issues while maintaining a positive customerexperience
- Proactively communicate updates to customers, particularly when delays orchallenges arise
- Follow up consistently to ensure customer inquiries and concerns are fullyresolved
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and documentation
- Support internal administrative functions related to order management andproduction processes
- Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented office environment
The successful candidate has:
- Previous experience in customer service, client services, order management,customer support, or a related role
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehousing, logistics, or distributionenvironment is considered a strong asset.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build positive customer relationships and deliver outstanding service
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Accountability, reliability, and excellent attendance
- Sound judgment and the ability to assess situations and make decisions independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and comfort learning new systems and technology
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, warehousing, logistics, or distribution environments is considered a strong asset
- Customer-focused mindset with a reputation for proactive follow-up and responsiveness
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $50,000 - $55,000
