Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative in Mississauga to join a busy branch. You will handle customer inquiries, process orders, coordinate shipments, and support sales growth while building strong relationships with customers and vendors.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for professional development and advancement within the branch.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, order management, or a related role.
  • Experience within an industrial, distribution, manufacturing, wholesale, or technical products environment is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and processing orders accurately.
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and confident communication style.
  • Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Bilingual French/English skills would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by phone, email, and in person.
  • Process customer orders accurately, including order entry, freight arrangements, invoicing, and related documentation.
  • Prepare quotations, source products, follow up on outstanding quotes, and coordinate orders through to completion.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve service issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify more complex issues and elevate them to the appropriate internal team when required.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, warehouse personnel, and transportation providers to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Track shipments, arrange pickups and deliveries, and investigate delays, discrepancies, or other logistics issues.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, identifying replenishment requirements, and working with warehouse teams.
  • Conduct outbound calls to existing customers to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, and support sales growth.
  • Provide counter sales and in-person customer support at the branch.
  • Maintain accurate records, invoices, receipts, shipping documentation, and other required paperwork.
  • Provide occasional after-hours customer support when required.
  • Develop knowledge of the company’s products, customers, vendors, and industry to provide increasingly effective support.
  • Contribute to a collaborative branch environment and assist with other operational responsibilities as needed.

About the Opportunity

Our client is an established industrial products and distribution organization serving customers across a range of commercial and operational environments. They are looking for a customer-focused professional to join their local branch and play a key role in supporting customers, processing orders, coordinating shipments, and contributing to sales growth.
