Applied Industrial Technologies Canada is seeking a Customer Service Representative at our Stoney Creek, ON location. You will provide expert assistance to customers, building ongoing relationships through regular contact and consultation, and ensuring timely parts and solutions delivery during equipment breakdowns.

This role offers a pathway toward outside sales, operations, management, or technical roles, with opportunities for training and professional development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Industrial or Fluid Power components sales experience.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and desire to succeed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy office environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving ability.
• Proficient computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking and has an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Customer Service Representative at our Stoney Creek, ON location.

In this role, you will provide our customers with expert assistance to a wide variety of questions and problems. Unlike most CSR roles, you will build ongoing business relationships with our customers through repeated contact and consultation. As this is a service and parts center, our ability to get customers' business often depends on your ability to quickly and efficiently provide them with the right parts and/or solutions – especially when customers are experiencing costly equipment breakdowns. You may also occasionally have hands‑on duties that will require mechanical aptitude.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• Inside Sales responsibilities
• Directly engaged in all sales activities

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• 2 or more years of Industrial or Fluid Power components sales experience
• Self‑motivated
• Enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude and desire to succeed
• Interest in customer satisfaction and desire to provide excellent service always
• Ability to multitask in a busy office environment while maintaining professionalism at all times
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Analytical and problem‑solving capability
• Computer literacy with focus on Outlook, Word, Excel, etc
• SAP experience would be an asset
