Job summary

RONA in Vancouver is seeking a dedicated Receiving and Handling associate to ensure smooth product flow from deliveries to store shelves. You will sort and unpack products, operate forklifts, and maintain inventory accuracy with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation and warehouse safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail in handling deliveries and inventory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail warehousing environment.
• Knowledge of basic inventory control and paperwork accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
