Job summary

RONA in Laval, QC is seeking a dedicated team member for the Receiving and Handling role. You will manage incoming deliveries, move products to proper storage, and support inventory accuracy. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure shelves stay stocked and operations run smoothly.

Ideal candidates will handle equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a positive customer service environment within a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow to store shelves.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received and complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Perform other related tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we\'re looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
