Value Buds is hiring a Retail Sales Associate – Cannabis (Customer Experience Rep) to welcome customers, provide product guidance, and ensure smooth checkout at the Cambridge Tri-City location.

Ideal candidates have customer service or retail experience, strong communication, and cannabis-certification credits. The role emphasizes compliance, inventory support, and creating a positive brand experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service, retail or hospitality experience is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves and support basic inventory tasks.

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Customer Experience Representative to join our team. As a Customer Experience Representative, you’llbe the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis. What You’ll Do
