Job summary

Value Buds is recruiting a Retail Sales Associate – Cannabis to deliver exceptional customer experiences in our fast-growing network. You will educate customers about products, guide purchases, and handle transactions at the POS while maintaining store shelves and inventory.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and a customer-first attitude are essential.
• Cannabis selling certification is required or eligible to obtain.
• Minimum age per province (18/19+) and ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Operate the POS, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves and support basic inventory tasks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations including ID verification.
