Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a Receiving Associate to support backend operations including receiving, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and housekeeping.

You will systematically receive P.O.'s, count and verify packages, stock from back room to the sales floor, and perform merchandising tasks. The role requires steel-toe boots, ability to stand, and PAL license eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
• Customer service oriented team player.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous, positive and professional manner.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise.
• Steel toes work boots are required.
• Must be able to obtain a PAL license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place.
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary.

Starting Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.75
