The Coordinator of Stephens Family School of Medicine Facilities and Capital Development, will play a key role in establishing permanent facilities and clinical training spaces that support the delivery of undergraduate and graduate medical programs. The Coordinator will contribute to the planning and development of these facilities while supporting engagement with internal and external stakeholders and communities to build meaningful, long-term partnerships, with particular attention to the needs and priorities of First Nations communities.
Key responsibilities will include supporting project planning and coordination, cost planning and analysis, development of briefing materials, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation to support the successful delivery of facilities and capital development initiatives.
Strong administrative skills are required to support scheduling, communication, organization, and coordination of divisional activities. Business knowledge and experience in areas such as business writing, cost forecasting, and conducting environmental scans would be considered an asset.
Experience with databases and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) would also be an asset. Knowledge or exposure to facilities planning, real estate, and capital development would be considered an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related discipline and three years of related experience in project coordination, facilities planning or facilities operations in health care, patient service or academic environments or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
