University of Ottawa seeks several Corrector (CUPE) tutors for Chimie organique I on the Main Campus during the 2026 Winter Semester. The positions cover grading, exam preparation, and student contact in a fully in-person setting.
Work is January 2027 to April 2027 for up to 80 hours total. Hourly rates are CAD 34–53 depending on student level; rates exclude vacation pay and statutory pay. WHMIS and OHS training required.
AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $33.83 ou/or $53.31 (Sept. 2026 - Aug. 2027)
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.

Nature of the Position Mark midterm exams and the final exam.
The candidate must have successfully completed one year of general chemistry, two years of organic chemistry, and CHM 3520 or its equivalent.
Any individual who is not a graduate student (Master's or PhD) in Chemistry must pass a qualification test (unless already completed).
Must have successfully completed the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training workshops.
