Job summary

University of Ottawa is seeking teaching assistant/renumeration for Organic Chemistry I (CHM1321) at the Main Campus. In-person instruction will run during the 2027 Winter Semester, with emphasis on grading, tutoring, and exam support.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must have 1 full year of general chemistry, 1 full year of organic chemistry, CHM 2120/2123 or their equivalents.

All those who are not a Chemistry graduate student will be required to write a test to qualify. (Unless already done in previous semester.)

Successful completion of WHIMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops.
